His talk – 𝑭𝒓𝒐𝒎 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑬𝑹 𝒕𝒐 𝑶𝒓𝒈𝒂𝒏𝒆𝒍𝒍𝒆 𝑴𝒆𝒄𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒊𝒄𝒔 𝒊𝒏 𝑳𝒊𝒑𝒊𝒅 𝑴𝒆𝒕𝒂𝒃𝒐𝒍𝒊𝒔𝒎 – will explore how lipid metabolism drives the emergence of organelle biophysical signatures, a question at the very core of what we do at ORIA Bioscience.

Biophysicist and Research Director at CNRS & ENS Paris, Prof. Thiam trained alongside Nobel laureate Prof. James E. Rothman at Yale School of Medicine. For over a decade, he has led pioneering research on the biophysics of lipid droplets and their communication with ER and other organelles. His work has been recognised by numerous awards, most recently his election as an EMBO member.
