Our story

ORIA was founded in 2022 as a spin-off from ENS Paris, emerging from a fundamental scientific challenge: conventional organelle extraction methods strip away native membranes and protein ecosystems, destroying the very properties researchers need to study. Our founders developed a proprietary, purely mechanical microfluidic platform that preserves organelle integrity at industrial scale. This innovation has been protected across 3 patents.

Backed by €2.7M in seed funding, ORIA quickly grew into a globally recognized platform extracting millions of intact, high-purity organelles per hour. What began as a scientific insight has become a Paris-based company backed by world-class collaborators and researchers who share our conviction: functional organelles deserve a place at the center of modern drug discovery.
